The group stage draw for the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Cup has thrown up some tasty fixtures.
The big guns, favourites Swinton Athletic, Dodworth Miners Welfare, North Gawber and Wombwell Main are all in different groups, but that is mainly down to three of those sides being seeded due to cricket ground shares.
Dodworth’s draw with Wombwell Town in Group A is a stand-out game due to the long-terms friendships between Dodworth boss Darren Young and Wombwell chiefs Karl Rose and James Dudgeon.
Wombwell Main’s clash with Penistone Church in Group D is bound to be one to look forward to based on their previous battles.
