Young midfielder Jack Lazenby is staying with Pontefract Collieries for the Craig Rouse revolution.
Lazenby has become the second player from Andy Monkhouse’s reign to commit to stay with the Colls under Rouse who returned to Beechnut Lane in January.
Lazenby joined Ponte not long before the NPL Division One North West campaign collapsed in a heap back in November.
However, he had enough time to make an impression as he scored a magnificent free kick for Pontefract against City of Liverpool.
Lazenby joined Ponte from Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side Garforth Town, where he was captain, but he has previous NPL experience from a spell at Brighouse Town.
