Leon Westoby’s Oughtilbridge War Memorial have reached the quarter-finals, despite losing 1-0 at Denaby Main in their final GROUP A fixture.
Jordan Pilling grabbed the winner for Denaby, but Dean Cooper’s men crashed out due to an inferior goals difference – one goal. Both sides had finished on three points each.
Ougtibridge will play Handsworth reserves in the quarter-finals.
Already through GROUP C runners-up Ecclesfield Red Rose 1915 stormed to a 4-0 victory at Sheffield Town FC.
An own goal plus strikes from Declan Childes, Stephen Davis and deadly Kenan Mckenzie Gray downed Sheffield.
Progression from GROUP B is North Gawber’s to lose following the 2-2 draw with Hepworth United.
Hepworth are second, but have finished their games and Gawber still have Jubilee Sports to play twice.
Gawber must win at least one of them and raise their goals difference by more than four goals to finish second and go through.
