Handsworth Reserves are one win away from the S&HCSL League Cup Final after coming from behind twice to win 5-2 against Oughtibridge War Memorial in their quarter-final tie at Olivers Mount.
Handsworth fell behind to the Premier Division side in the 22nd minute after conceding a close range header.
Luke Howson soon brought the scores level, but Oughtibridge went in front again on the stroke of half-time thanks to a cooly-taken penalty.
The cup tie spun in Handsworth’s direction in quick-fire fashion after the hour mark.
Ellis Moore equalised to bring the scores to 2-2 before Sam Morley fired them ahead for the first time.
With Oughtibridge tiring, Sam Eccles and James Woodhouse made the score-line more emphatic.
