Ex-Ferriby man joins Jarman’s Barton

Barton Town’s new signing Curtis Bateson

Ex-North Ferriby attacker Curtis Bateson has joined Nathan Jarman’s Barton Town.

Bateson played with Jarman at Ferriby and he is arguably one of the top Toolstation NCEL signings of the summer so far.

That’s because of his experience at a relatively young age of 25 and the fact he has dropped down a Division to sign for Barton.

Bateson played for Cleethorpes Town last year and he has also wore the jerseys of Alfreton Town and Gainsborough Trinity.

Jarman has retained Josh Baker and Scott Matthews from last season’s squad.

He has also brought Jamie Goddard back from Spalding United.

Goddard played for Barton between early 2018 to September 2019.
