Powerful centre-back Ryan Gothard is back for another season with Selby Town.
Gothard has been a club stalwart and the captain since Christian Fox took over as manager in the summer of 2017 and is a huge fans favourite.
Fox plucked Gothard from obscurity in the York Premier League where he was playing for F1 Racing and he has turned him into one of the strongest defenders in the Toolstation NCEL Division One.
Gothard is one of several further names to be revealed as Selby players for the new season.
Striker Josh Street who flipped between Selby and North Ferriby last season is returning to the Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium.
Fellow attack Flynn McNaughton, the former Pickering Town and Scarborough Athletic, has joined. He had a spell with Selby in 2019.
The other two signings are young striker Harry Clapham (ex-Pickering Town) and defender Harrison Sheppeard, formerly of Guiseley and Tadcaster Albion.
