North West Counties new-boys Ilkley Town have landed a dream money-spinning Division One North home game with Bury AFC for their first ever Non League fixture.
It is going to be remarkable start for Simon Armstrong’s promoted Ilkley as they’re coming up against the reformed club which was reformed out of the ashes of Bury FC who were expelled from the Football League only two years ago.
The game, to be played on the 31st July, is bound to totally break all Ilkley’s attendance records at the first hurdle on their Non League Football adventure.
Campion start life in the North West with a trip to Garstang.
