Former Penistone Church man and expert penalty taker Glavin, son of Barnsley legend Ronnie, adds vital experience to Worsbrough’s squad which is being slightly rebuilt by Forgione who is looking forward to his full season in charge at Park Road.

Attacker Callum Walton, a key member of the Handsworth Reserves side which shocked many by reaching the County Senior’s League Cup Final in June, has joined Worsbrough.
Midfielder Alfie Dodsworth has also returned to Worsbrough. He played for them under Lee Morris during 2019. He has previously played for Handsworth – where he will have met former Ambers assistant Forgione – and Rossington Main.
