Mitch Hamilton has returned to Knaresborough Town to reunite with his old manager Rob Hunter.
The attacker played for the Manse Lane during the last season (2014/15) of the long Brian Davey era when he was still a teenager. But it was where he first made his name as the spell saw him score a number of goals.
But the link up with Hunter again is the most interesting factor.
Hunter has been arguably been the manager who has got the most of out of Hamilton, the son of former Goole AFC, Garforth Town and Farsley Celtic striker Mark.
Hamilton was a star player during Hunter’s first two seasons in charge of Garforth several years ago.
Hamilton has never hit the heights he found there since. He had a short stint with Campion, but he has been on a sabbatical from Non League Football for a couple of years.
He joins a list of new faces which includes Sean Hunter, Jamie Hassall, Ewan Gregson and Tom Rose.
A further arrival is defender Harry Croft who has returned to the club.
