Ex-Ossett man Brunt joins Hemsworth

New Hemsworth Miners Welfare attacker Connor Brunt

Former Ossett Albion attacker Connor Brunt has joined Luke Danville and Luke Potter’s Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

The arrival of Brunt, who won the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division with Worksop Town in 2019, is a really positive step in the right direction for Hemsworth.

He is certainly a quality replacement for the departed Matty Hughes who has joined Armthorpe Welfare.

Brunt previously worked under Potter when the joint Welfare boss was first team coach to Richard Tracey at Ossett.

The news completes a trio of new signings for Hemsworth who have also scooped to sign goalkeeper Dan Morton and Penistone Church winger Kane Swinburn.
