Taylor returns to Pickering

Steve Roberts welcomes Lewis Taylor back to Pickering Town

Midfielder Lewis Taylor has returned to Mill Lane to bolster Pickering Town’s squad.

Taylor, who originally joined the club at the age of 16, was Pickering’s longest serving player until he left to join Bridlington Town two years ago.

But now he’s back for Pickering’s third year in the Northern Premier League.

Taylor was a huge fans’ favourite during his stint with Pickering between 2011 and 2019.

He made 265 appearance after graduating from the under 19s.

Steve Roberts said: “I am thrilled Lewis has decided to rejoin Pickering.

“He brings real quality in possession and he strengthens the group.

“I have been trying to bring him back since I took over as manager.

“He is a great lad and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
