Hallam have continued to reveal the make-up of their squad for the new Toolstation NCEL Division One season.
Ex-Pontefract Collieries, Frickley Athletic and Ossett Town striker Chris Wood and Max Pemberton are the latest players to be confirmed as members of Craig Denton’s side.
In the past week or two, goalkeeper Sam Andrew, Jack Brownell, Matt Birks, Liam Royles, Richard Patterson and Chris Salt have been the other players unveiled.
They all join Steve Woolley, Iren Wilson, Danny Deakin, James Gregory, Adam Baskerville, Kieran Watson and Danny Patterson in the squad.
Forward Baskerville was on the score-sheet as Hallam won 3-2 for the second consecutive pre-season friendly.
Hallam had to work hard for their win at Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Premier Division side Wakefield AFC.
Jake Morrison put Wakefield ahead early doors, but Baskerville levelled matters after blasting home from close range.
Jed Wilkinson restored Wakefield’s lead before Kieran Watson equalised on the stroke of half-time.
Two-a-piece is how it remained until Hallam won a penalty with five minutes to go of normal time. Iren Wilson was fouled and Wood coolly placed the spot kick home to win it.
