Four more players from last season have re-signed for Luke Forgione’s Toolstation NCEL Division One side Worsbrough Bridge.
Committed to the new season are Owen Wildblood, Callum Beaumont, Dempsey Smith and Harley Holt.
Versatile Wildblood was a higher profile signing from Hemsworth Miners Welfare last year and is a solid addition.
Youngster Beaumont and Smith have been knocking on the door of the first team for some time.
Holt, released from Sheffield Wednesday last year, is one to watch out in the future.
Still in his teens, the forward impressed for Penistone Church Reserves in the EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League very early last season.
He then dual-signed for both Worsbrough and Dodworth Miners Welfare.
His ability, pace and the fact he has taken to a high level of men’s football like a duck to water at such a young age makes him one to keep an eye on.
The Worsbrough squad also contains Conor Glavin, Sam Gibson, goalkeeper Ross Pritchard, Callum Walton, Alfie Dodsworth, Matt Semley, Alfred Thompson, Rob Farrell, Luke Francis, Kyle Wordsworth, Ben Donoghue, Elliot Wilson and Mike Jepps.
In other news, Forgione has added former Briggers striker Ryan Pleasants to his management team as coach/analyst.
