Handsworth appoint goalkeeping coach

Adam Ledger is Handsworth’s new goalkeeping coach

Former Emley stopper Adam Ledger has joined Handsworth as their goalkeeping coach.

Ledger played for Emley during the Joe Howson era three years ago, but he is now working off-the-field alongside manager Russ Eagle and his assistants Jason Dodsworth and Aidan Spowage.

He has also played for FC Bolster and Staveley Miners Welfare in the past.

Ledger will work with Handsworth’s goalkeepers Ben Townsend and Joe Bacon.

Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side Handsworth drew 2-2 with a Chesterfield X1 in their opening pre-season fixture.

Tom Roebuck and young Ethan Hobson scored.
