Title-winners Chris Spinks and Tom Bennett have headed ‘home’ to Hall Road Rangers.
Bennett and Spinks are remembered by followers of Hall Road for their key roles in the club’s Toolstation NCEL Division One title triumph during the Dave Ricardo in 2017.
Despite his ability, Spinks has only played three seasons in Non League Football as work commitments previously prevented him playing regular football.
It wasn’t until when Westella were on the brink of promotion to the NCEL that he stopped working on weekends.
He quickly made up for lost time by scoring loads for Westella during their first campaign in the NCEL before the move to Hall Road.
Spinks left Hall Road in 2018 to become player/manager which he did for a year before reverting to player/assistant manager under Craig Palmer.
Now he’s back with Hall Road along with midfielder Bennett – the ex-Bridlington Town and Barton Town man.
