Toolstation NCEL Division One Round-Up (2)

Matty Hughes got the first half winner as Lee Morris’ new look Armthorpe Welfare side got off to a great start by winning their opening League match of the campaign for the first time since 2015 with a 1-0 victory at Teversal.
Armthorpe dominated the first half and deservedly went ahead on the stroke of half-time when Hughes cut in from the right to blast his shot past Teversal goalkeeper Pryce from just inside the box.

Owen Wildblood was the hero for Worsbrough Bridge who took their unbeaten pre-season into the new campaign by winning 1-0 at Hall Road Rangers.
The ex-Hemsworth Miners Welfare man grabbed the winner three minutes before half-time.
Luke Forgione’s side spurned the chance to make the game more comfortable as vice-captain Luke Francis missed a penalty on the hour mark.
Glasshoughton Welfare were left devastated after hosts Brigg Town stole all three points with a last minute goal in the 3-2 defeat.
New signing Lewis Stephens was a goal-scorer for Glasshoughton.
