New defender joins Yorkshire Amateur

NPL Division One East

Yorkshire Amateur defender Charlie Jebson-King

Yorkshire Amateur have signed young defender Charlie Jebson-King, just days before the new season kicks off at Worksop Town.

The teenager came through the youth ranks at York City and has been involved with the first team.

He made his debut in York’s 2-0 win over Irlam in the FA Cup second qualifying round two years ago.

Joint manager Craig Ogilvie said: “Charlie has got tremendous ability and a great left foot which I’m confident will supply plenty of assists this season! He’s great from dead ball situations and I know he’ll fit into how we play superbly well.

“I’ve known Charlie a number of years so I know what I get with him and he’s the type of person we want at the club moving forward.”

The Ammers have since announced the capture of Piteu Crouz – the former Belper Town, Liversedge and Tadcaster Albion attacker who brings a lot of NPL experience to the table.
