Top stopper Lloyd Allinson is the latest impressive signing at Ian Walker’s Nostell Miners Welfare.
Allinson made his debut in Nostell’s 8-2 hammering of Shirebrook Town in the NCEL League Cup first round.
Rothwell-born Allinson came through the youth ranks at Huddersfield Town and made one first team appearance for the Terriers in May 2016.
He then played five times for Chesterfield in the Football League after his release from Huddersfield.
He dropped into Non League Football with FC United of Manchester in 2017 and he spent two years with them.
He has since moved about a bit and played for the likes of Guiseley, Ashton United, Gainsborough Trinity and Scarborough Athletic.
His pedigree makes him one of the most impressive signings at Nostell for a while.
