Clapham and Perks net hat-tricks

Toolstation NCEL Division One Round-Up

New Nostell Miners Welfare striker Nathan Perks

Harry Clapham and Nathan Perks scored hat-tricks for their respective sides this week.

Clapham’s treble was the difference in Selby Town’s impressive 4-3 win at Brigg Town.

Flynn McNaughton scored Selby’s fourth.

Perks got the equaliser for Nostell Miners Welfare who went onto beat Clipstone 4-1 at Crofton Community Centre.

Anees Younis also scored.

Lewis Wheeldon’s double put Hall Road Rangers on course for their first three points of the season.

Lewis Andrew sealed the 3-1 defeat of Ollerton Town at Haworth Park.

Glasshoughton Welfare put four past FC Humber United without reply.

Danny Youel, Aaron Gray, Adam Hayton (penalty) and Lewis Stephens got the goals for Glasshoughton.

Sam Kitchen hit a last minute equaliser for Rossington Main to rescue a point in the 1-1 draw with ten man North Ferriby.

Ferriby looked certainties for the three points when Danny East broke the deadlock on the first half.

However, the game began to move away from them when Jamie Forrester’s penalty was saved by goalkeeper Kian Johnson.

Danny Emerton was then sent off following a lunge on Rossington player/manager Ben Hunter.

Rossington threw the proverbial kitchen sink and Kitchen came up trumps after pouncing on the rebound from Tyla Bell’s shot which had hit the post.

Elliott Holmes scored another header as Harrogate Railway drew 1-1 with Dronfield Town.

Adam Baskerville marked his return to Armthorpe Welfare with the winner in the solitary goal victory at Shirebrook Town.

Parkgate eased to a 3-2 success at Swallownest whose goals from Callum Greaves and Jason Short were mere consolations.

Sam Ackroyd, James Stafford and Patrick Muirhead found the net for Andy Dawson’s Parkgate.

Worsbrough Bridge were beaten 3-1 at Retford FC after conceding two late goals.

Spenser Sheppard was Worsbrough’s goal-scorer.
