Dodworth Miners Welfare have pulled off a coup signing after luring centre-half Billy Rhodes to the club.
Rhodes is making his football comeback following a leg break sustained whilst playing for Worsbrough Bridge in pre-season last year.
The defender was a key member of the Worsbrough side which finished seventh in the Toolstation NCEL Division One table in 2018.
Rhodes is the third new signing at Dodworth this summer behind fellow ex-Briggers Danny Cawley and Kai Hancock.
Darren Young’s side are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Wombwell Town in a pre-season friendly.
That will provide further minutes in the tank before their Premier Division campaign kicks off with the visit of Hepworth United on Wednesday 8th September.
