North Ferriby star Jamie Forrester

Jamie Forrester salvaged a point for ten man North Ferriby in the 1-1 derby day draw with Hall Road Rangers at Haworth Park.

Striker Chris Spinks nearly won it for Leon Sewell’s Hall Road but Ferriby goalkeeper Lewis Exall made a terrific save.

But the point is a good one for ever-improving Hall Road

Hall Road gained the front-foot in the first half when Sam Robinson headed home Spinks’ free kick.

Rangers goalkeeper Jody Barford then played his part with a fine stop to deny Danny East.

The task facing Ferriby became harder close to half-time as Niall Tilsley saw red.

One-time Rangers player Forrester came up with the goods with 20 minutes remaining after finding the right-hand bottom corner from inside the penalty area.

FC Humber’s former Selby Town striker Louis Blackwell

Selby Town needed two late goals to defeat tenants FC Humber United in a bizarre 6-4 victory.

Selby never trailed but they surrendered the lead three times having gone 1-0, 3-1, 4-3 up before Liam Flanagan (penalty) and Gracjan Klimczak spared their blushes.

Their ex-striker Louis Blackwell scored a hat-trick for the second successive game.

Brandon Burke was the Humber player who made it 4-4.

Flanagan opened the scoring for Selby in the sixth and the Robins’ other goal-scorers were captain Ryan Gothard and Flynn McNaughton (2).

Harrogate Railway bounced back from a defeat thanks to Jacob Robertson’s first half goal in the solitary defeat of in-form Glasshoughton Welfare.

The breakthrough came in the 37th minute after Robertson pounced on the rebound from a shot which had been saved.

Railway have now taken eight points from a possible 15.

Jack Appleyard rescued a point for Swallownest
Worsbrough striker Luke Francis

Jack Appleyard’s late equaliser rescued a 1-1 draw for Alex Nightingale’s Swallownest against Worsbrough Bridge.

Vice-captain Luke Francis placed Worsbrough ahead on the hour.

Luke Forgione’s men were then reduced to ten men after Alfie Dodsworth was sent off.

Appleyard secured a point for Swallownest after substitute Richard Williams presented him with a tap-in.

Unbeaten Parkgate ran riot in the second half of their 4-0 demolition of Dronfield Town.

After a goal-less first half, Aiden Salmons, Freddy Tracey, Will Wraith and Zak Khalifa netted for Parkgate.

Jack Watson’s early goal continued Rossington Main’s good start to the campaign with the 1-0 derby win over Armthorpe Welfare.

Hallam lost 2-1 at Brigg Town who had to play with ten men for 70 minutes after Wayne Graves’ red card.

Iren Wilson brought Craig Denton’s men level at one stage during the first half.
