Left-sided player Niall Smith has reunited himself with Craig Denton at Hallam.
Smith is a popular figure at Sandygate having been the manager’s player of the year during the Scott Bates era.
He has also played for Worksop Town and Rainworth Miners Welfare under Denton.
Smith played for Maltby Main last season.
He arrives before tonight’s home clash with Hall Road Rangers.
Hallam are searching for their first win of the campaign.
Denton’s side have drawn and lost two of their opening three league fixtures.
