NPL Division One East
Pickering Town have made a double signing ahead of the two big games against Stocksbridge Park Steels and Tadcaster Albion this weekend.
Full-back Soni Fergus back on loan from Whitby Town for a month as cover for Ben Clappison who is suspended and the injured Jake Watson.
He first joined Pickering in November 2019 from Harrogate Town under 23s.
Alhassane Keita adds proven NPL fire-power to the Pickering ranks after joining from league rivals Brighouse Town.
He previously scored a lot of goals for Albion Sports in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
He had a spell with Scarborough Athletic – and that’s where Pickering boss Steve Roberts first met him.
Roberts said: “I came across Alhassane during my time at Scarborough.
“He has so much ability to create things in the final third.
“He has tremendous pace which is a real asset to any team and he can play anywhere across the front three.
“I am looking forward to adding him to this group of players.”
