The exciting opening day of the County Senior League is less than a week away.

It promises to be another brilliant season in the very competitive Premier Division which contains top sides like Dodworth Miners Welfare, North Gawber, Swinton Athletic, Wakefield AFC, Wombwell Main and a few others.

Although Swinton have been unbeaten for two years, the pandemic has stopped from them winning the title – that means Gawber are still the reigning champions.

Non League Yorkshire will be previewing a handful of the Premier Division clubs later in the week and providing a round-up of the top flight’s results throughout the season.

The 4th September Opening Day Premier Division Fixtures

Ecclesfield Red Rose 1915 v Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves

Jubilee Sports v Swinton Athletic

Oughtibridge War Memorial v North Gawber

Penistone Church Reserves v Houghton Main

Sheffield Town FC v Wombwell Main

Wakefield AFC v High Green Villa
