The strike on stroke of half-time secured the 3-2 victory over Pickering Town at Bracken Moor.
The Steels had to show huge character to turn the game around during the frantic first half.
Lewis Whitham’s opener for Stocksbridge was overturned by Jackson Jowett’s close range effort.
A header from Pikes captain Wayne Brooksby put the visitors ahead.

Ossett United continued their perfect start to the campaign with an impressive 2-1 home win against North East giants Hebburn Town.
Nash Connolly’s early first half double was enough to record a third win in three league games.
Former Darlington striker Amar Purewal quickly reduced the deficit but Ossett held on.
