Best Mate in Football
I’ve a few best mates in footy. I’ve got Cal Rolinson, Jack Mawson and Luke Danville.
Team You Support
Man Utd!! I’m from Manchester so it’s alright to be.
Biggest influence on football career
Probably my dad who has always been there pushing me.
Career Highlight
Don’t really have a career highlight.
Lowest moment in football
Lowest I’ve felt is not getting a chance at Rec always overlooked. I regret not giving it a good go when I was younger lost interest in it a lot so didn’t put as much effort in as I should of done.
Funniest Moment in Football
Seeing Cal Rollinson get naked on the team bus and singing karaoke. Him and jack Mawson, the thickest two people you’ll ever meet, laughs after laughs with them.
First semi-professional football manager
my first manager was margy (Sean Margison) at Rec. He was a good guy and great coach.
Non League Debut
I made my debut against Worksop for Rec we got beat 5-0 Jack Briscoe got sent of in the first 10 minutes. First time I’d played in midfield at this level to and ended up getting man of the match.
First and Best Non League Goal
My first goal was for Worsbrough against Yorkshire Amateur (17th February 2018). Jack Mawson cut a ball back to edge of the area and I caught it on half volley straight into roof of the net. That was probably my best too as I don’t score that many.
What do you want to achieve in football in the future?
I want to win promotion or a trophy with a team then later on go into management but we’ll see about that.
Favourite Non League Ground
Parkgate it’s always nice to go to top quality pitch, joy to play on.
