NPL Division One East
Former Pontefract Collieries manager Andy Monkhouse has taken temporary charge of Tadcaster Albion.
The ex-Rotherham United midfielder had been assisting interim boss Steve Waide.
Waide, who had been overseeing first team affairs after Paul Quinn’s exit, resigned after Tad’s 2-1 defeat to Lincoln United on Saturday.
The deadline for applications for the permanent position is on the 27th September.
Monkhouse will get at least one game in charge – Friday’s home battle with title-chasing Marske United.
He only returned to the club – having played for them briefly as a player in 2020 – two weeks ago but now finds himself at the helm.
