NPL Division One East
Former Stocksbridge Park Steels midfielder Corey Gregory has joined Brighouse Town.
Gregory arrives at Brighouse from Belper Town after a couple of years with former Ossett Town manager Grant Black’s side.
Ironically he could make his Brighouse debut against his former side Stocksbridge on Monday night.
The former Sheffield United youngster – who has also played for Ossett United – was a good player and a popular member of the Steels squad over a couple of seasons.
The club only released him in 2017 because of an on-field ruckus with team-mate Ash Burbeary.
Aside from a few spectacular goals and assists, one of his other memorable moments at Bracken Moor was his bizarre red for throwing mud at an opponent at Spalding.
