Silsden hero Joe Mitchell

Silsden snatched an amazing victory out of the jaws of defeat after two last minute goals earned them a 3-2 win at Staveley Miners Welfare.

The enthralling contest saw Staveley lead from the 15th minute to the last ten minutes when Mohammed Qasim equalised.

Staveley then looked to have won it when Sam Kay struck.

However, Danny Forrest’s Silsden had other ideas.

Brad Riley levelled the scores and Joe Mitchell sensationally won it 60 seconds later.

Penistone Church’s Tom Brennan

Tom Brennan’s double was the difference as Penistone Church returned to winning ways in the 3-1 victory at Knaresborough Town.

Luke Stewart laid the platform with the first half goal.

Colin Heath pulled one back for Knaresborough.

Garforth Town captain Dan Coupland

Dan Coupland’s late goal secured a deserved point from the 2-2 draw with leaders Grimsby Borough.

James Burgess scored Garforth’s first goal.

Thackley forward Albert Ibrahimi

An own goal plus strikes from Ben Grech-Brooksbank and Albert Ibrahimi edged Thackley to their 3-2 defeat of Emley.

Jimmy Eyles and Max Tweddle were on the score-sheet for Emley.

Goole AFC’s unbeaten run was ended by Jonny Irving’s double in the 2-1 defeat at third-placed Eccleshill United.

Shaun Heselwood scored for Goole.
