NPL Division One East Round-Up

John Deacey enjoyed the perfect start to his Tadcaster Albion reign as Romario Vieira’s double earned them a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Bridlington Town.
But it wasn’t all plain-sailing as Brid player/manager Brett Agnew scored at the back-post in the sixth minute.
The response was instant as a handball allowed Vieira to convert from the penalty spot.
Vieira hit the the winner straight after the interval.



Stocksbridge Park Steels were edged out in a 3-2 defeat at promotion-chasing Worksop Town.
The Steels pegged Craig Parry’s Worksop back twice through Luke Mangham before succumbing to former Harrogate Town striker Liam Hardy’s winner on the hour.

Lewis Taylor was the goal-scorer as Pickering Town stunned Stockton Town by taking the lead.
Unfortunately Steve Roberts’ side lost 4-1 at the North East giants.
Brighouse Town were level at 1-1 in their clash at Shildon but they were between 3-1.
Harrison Beeden scored for Brighouse.
Yorkshire Amateur lost 3-0 at Dunston.
