Nipping under the radar, former Frickley Athletic striker Luke Hinsley made his Pontefract Collieries debut in the historic FA Cup fourth qualifying round draw with FC Halifax Town.
Hinsley strengthens the Colls attack as Craig Rouse looks for an improvement in the club’s league form.
Hinsley was a second half substitute for Eli Hey.
The forward is best known for his stints at Frickley Athletic where he was a fans favourite.
He has also played for Buxton and Matlock Town.
He joins the Colls from Frickley but he was there only briefly.
Hyde United were the club he signed for in the summer but did not feature.
Hinsley will likely be involved again when Pontefract head to The Shay for the replay on Tuesday.
