Midweek Round-Up
Toolstation NCEL Division One

Eddie Wileman’s hat-trick was the difference as FC Humber United astonishingly defeated leaders Brigg Town in an epic 5-4 victory, ending their long winless run.
Struggling Humber had not won since the opening day of the season – a total of 14 league matches without a victory – while Brigg had played 13, won 11, drawn one and lost one and scored 54 goals in the process.
So this was David versus Goliath stuff.
It was 3-3 at the break and Humber had led three times – Wileman (2) and Szymon Czubik scoring.
The same player put Humber on the cusp of victory quite quickly in the second half.
Wileman sealed his hat-trick before Czubik made it 5-3 in the 55th minute.
Brigg pulled one back but it was in the last minute though Scott Phillips.
West Riding County Cup First Round

Two late goals earned in-form Thackley a 2-0 win at Goole AFC.
Ben Grech-Brooksbank and Owen Murphy scored in the last ten minutes.
