Toolstation NCEL Division One
Glasshoughton Welfare have added lethal Hall Green United striker James Cusworth to their squad.
Cusworth has been in sensational form for the fifth-placed West Yorkshire League Premier Division outfit this season.
With 16 goals, he is by far the top goal-scorer in the Division – four ahead of former Garforth town stalwart Lee Turner of Beeston St Anthony and six in front of ex-Farsley Celtic star Lewis Nightingale who plays for his local side Rawdon Old Boys.
Glasshoughton have built up a great reputation in the past five years for developing Step 7 players so hopefully Cusworth will be the latest success story.
He replaces another player from Josh Whiteley who was an instant hit after joining from Horbury Town but was soon snapped up by North Ferriby.
Glasshoughton are not in action this weekend.
Their next game is the home clash with Teversal on October 30th.
