Cleethorpes Town 1-3 Liversedge
A sensational blitz of three goals against Cleethorpes Town in the opening ten minutes set unstoppable leaders Liversedge up for another victory.
It was hard to keep up as Ben Atkinson, Joe Walton and Ollie Fearon all scored to effectively wrap up the three points before they had even ‘warmed up’.
In-form midfielder Atkinson hit the target with an effort from the edge of the penalty area.
Walton then struck a beauty with a long range strike.
Fearon applied more misery on Cleethorpes by leaping to head home a ‘Sedge corner.
Cleethorpes pulled one back straight after the break through Paul Walker.
But any Cleethorpes comeback was snuffed out pretty quickly as Fearon netted at the back-post.
Luke Lofts scored Cleethorpes’ second goal.
