Premier Division

Swinton star Enzo Guarini

Enzo Guarini capped off a dramatic finale with the stoppage time winner for leaders Swinton Athletic who won 2-1 at Wakefield AFC after scoring twice in the final few minutes.

The win bounced Swinton back to winning ways after the midweek defeat to Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves and denied Wakefield the chance to go sixth.

Jake Morrison’s first half goal was seemingly enough until Curtis Wilkinson equalised in the 86th minute.

Attacker Guarini then struck in the second minute of added time.
