Pontefract Collieries have released striker Vaughan Redford who is set to return to Worksop Town.
Former Liversedge forward Redford was part of the glory years under Craig Parry and Craig Rouse before moving to Worksop in mid-2020.
He then came back when Rouse was appointed Colls manager in January.
Redford played a big part in Pontefract’s recent FA Cup adventure but has been out of the side recently.
A club statement said: “We can today confirm that following discussions with the first team management and the club, we have made the decision to release Vaughan Redford from his contract with the club.
“It is expected that he will now be joining Worksop Town in the coming days.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Vaughan for his efforts since his return to the club in the summer and for the part he has played in our FA Cup run.
“We wish him and his family well moving forward.”
