NPL Division One East
Pickering Town 4-1 Sheffield FC
Sam Barker scored all four goals as Pickering Town gained three precious points from the clash with fellow strugglers Sheffield FC.
Pickering, who fielded new signings goalkeeper Leigh Overton and on-loan Middlesbrough defender Josh Wells, were 2-0 up inside 12 minutes.
Donny Holdsworth was fouled in the eighth minute and that allowed Barker to score from the penalty spot.
Barker soon doubled his tally before sealing his first career hat-trick on the half-hour mark by turning in Jack Johnson’s cross.
Sam Ackroyd pulled one back for Sheffield on the hour.
Barker finished off his dream game with a late penalty.
