Harley Holt’s second half was the difference as Worsbrough Bridge superbly won 3-2 at surprise package Rossington Main.
Worsbrough responded to Tyla Bell’s first half opener for Rossington by going in at half-time 2-1 ahead after goals from Mike Jepps and Dempsey Smith.
Holt stretched the lead before Greg Young set up a nervy-jangling finale which Worsbrough saw out.
Two quick-fire second half goals paved the way for Hallam’s 2-0 win at Clipstone.
The victory puts them two points behind North Ferriby – who were in FA Vase action – and leaders Brigg Town.
Joe Wood gave Nostell Miners Welfare the lead against Selby Town but Ian Walker’s men lost 3-1.
Liam Flanagan scored twice before the break and Harry Clapham struck on the hour for Christian Fox’s Selby.
Dan Thirkell scored two penalties but they were in vain as Harrogate Railway lost 4-2 at Retford FC.
