Hallam manager Craig Denton has paid tribute to outgoing physio Shannon Brooks.
Ms Brooks, who has worked with Denton at Hallam and Worksop Town, is leaving her post in the near future due to family commitments.
She will be a loss for Hallam but she will always be remembered because of her heroics in saving the life of assistant referee Andrew Jarvis in the game at Rainworth Miners Welfare in September.
“Shannon is now working Mondays to Friday so she hardly sees her little boy,” Denton told Non League Yorkshire.
“We’re so sad to see her go but we fully understand and totally respect her decision.
“I’d love for Shannon to come and work with me again because she’s a credit to any football club as shown with the news of the assistant referee (Andrew Jarvis).
“She’ll be truly missed and she sure has left a legacy.
“I’ve had Shannon at previous clubs and she is extremely committed and loyal.
“She’s bowing out but I’m sure I’ll be able to twist her arm in the future when her little one is a bit older and she can come to more evening and Saturday games.”
The search has commenced for her successor and Denton hopes to have a replacement soon.
“We’re looking for a new physio and hopefully we’ll recruit in the next two weeks,” he said.
“It is a position that is paid with expenses and we’ll looking for someone to cover match-days.”
