Senior players Jon Froggatt and Pat Lindley are to take charge of Staveley Miners Welfare for the rest of the season.
The pair were denied their first game at the helm as the trip to AFC Mansfield was postponed due to the bad weather.
They replace Brett Marshall who last week stood down after six years in the Staveley dugout and retired from management.
Ex-Belper Town striker Froggatt has previous management experience as he assisted Mark Ward at Mansfield for a bit.
He and Steve Istead also managed Handsworth for most of the 2018/19 season.
Staveley are due to next in action next Saturday when they are due to host Maltby Main.
