Albion Sports continued their stunning revival this weekend under new boss Rizwan Mohammed who has also appointed a new first team coach.
The 3-1 win over Winterton Rangers is their third win on the bounce under undefeated Mohammed and it moves them further away from relegation zone.
Mohammed has proven to be a magician as Albion had lost nine on the spin prior to his appointment.
Danny Facey’s second half double was instrumental in the win.
Recent signing Dominic Staunton gave Albion on the stroke of half-time.
Mohammed’s new first team coach is Greg Beswick who has previously held similar roles at Thackley and Glasshoughton Welfare.
“When Rizwan asked me to come on board, I had no hesitation in joining the club,” Beswick said.
“The vision he has for the club is really exciting and I am honoured and buzzing to now be apart of it.
“I can’t wait to get back into NCEL football week in week out and help to move the club forward.
“The weekends result is a great start against a strong and organised Winterton side. Hopefully we will continue to progress as a group and climb the league.”
