Experienced attacker Ryan Cooper was forced to play in goal during Selby Town’s abandoned clash at Rossington Main.
With Aiden Smith having left for Worsbrough Bridge and Tom Brown and Luke Mitchell unavailable, Cooper added another feat to his list of achievements during his career.
He conceded once in the ill-fated game but he had no chance with that shot.
Tyla Bell did well with a surge towards the edge of the penalty area and his well-hit effort buried itself in Cooper’s left-hand bottom corner.
Selby hit back literally just before half-time.
Kain Rogerson’s in-swinging corner went straight in – although Dan Davison or a Rossington defender could have got a touch on it.
That proved the final act of the game as with conditions deteriorating, the referee decided to abandon proceedings.
