Selby sign popular ‘keeper

Jody Barford

Jody Barford has signed for Selby Town leaving Hall Road Rangers.

The goalkeeper leaves Hall Road after an almost three-year-stint.

He played his last game for Hall Road was against Glasshoughton on Saturday.

Barford has had several stints with Selby under various managers including Leon Sewell, Fox and Mick Gray.

His time with Gray saw him involved in a memorable training session in the Selby changing room which was used as the pitch was under deep snow.

Barford has played for clubs such as Tadcaster Albion, Garforth Town, Brodsworth, Retford United and Ossett Albion.

Due to his passion for Non League Football, he also acted as an emergency goalkeeper.
