FC Halifax Town have revealed Elliott Newby has been recalled from his loan deal by parent club and league rivals Stockport County.
Newby joined the Shaymen on loan at the beginning of October and went onto make 16 appearances for Pete Wild’s side.
In other news, midfielder Jamie Cooke has joined National North side Curzon Ashton on loan for a month.
Halifax are not in action on Boxing Day due to an covid outbreak at Grimsby Borough.
Their next game is at leaders Chesterfield on the 28th.
