Emley manager Richard Tracey has wished Stocksbridge Park Steels-bound forward Jack Bennett all the best.
The youngster has hung up his Emley tracksuit and headed to Ian Richards’ Stocksbridge to continue his development.
The former Athersley Rec player has played 15 times in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division this season for Emley, scoring twice.
“It is a massive opportunity for him,” Tracey told Non League Yorkshire.
“Obviously we keep his registration for the Toolstation League.
“I know Ian well and we spoke at length on Monday about the opportunity for Jack.
“He understands Jack’s strengths and the areas for development.
“Jack has everything physically that a striker needs to terrorise defences.
“He just needs to keep working to develop his technique and his overall game and Ian wants to take that opportunity now and work with him and see what he can do in terms of his development.
“He goes with our best wishes.”
