Iren Wilson’s double was the difference as Craig Denton’s Hallam propelled themselves to the top of the table after capitalising on North Ferriby’s slip-up.
Wilson scored in both halves as Hallam won 3-2 against title rivals Brigg Town in front of a record-breaking 1128 at Sandygate – 11 short of Ferriby’s crowd.
The attacker pounced in the 19th minute after getting in behind.
Scott Phillips equalised straight after the break with a cooly-taken penalty but Wilson restored the lead quite quickly after finding the bottom corner.
Recent signing Craig Mitchell capitalised from a goal-mouth scramble late-on and although Jonathan Oglesby pulled one back, Hallam weren’t to be denied.
Andy Dawson’s Parkgate eased to a 5-1 win at Dronfield Town.
Freddy Tracey (2), Max Rhodes, Brandon Bagley an Will Wraith scored.
