Loan striker returns to Avenue

Striker Rob Guilfoyle has returned to Bradford (Park Avenue) after his successful loan spell with Pontefract Collieries ended.

Guilfoyle joined the Colls in November and he scored some important goals as the club’s form improved dramatically.

His most notable contribution was his double on his debut against Hebburn Town.

Avenue manager Mark Bower told Non League Yorkshire last month that he was really pleased with how Guilfoyle’s loan spell had gone.

Both clubs are in action tonight.

Pontefract visit Sheffield FC in the NPL Division One East while Avenue face Southport in the National North.
