NPL Division One East
Bradford City striker Charlie Wood is stay with Ossett United for the rest of the season.
Wood joined Ossett a month ago and made an instant impact by scoring the winner at Tadcaster Albion.
The news of him staying is likely to be the first of a few announcements from Ossett in the next ten days.
Jas Colliver was already gearing up to strengthen his squad but the 6-0 massacre at Liversedge on Friday night has probably acclerated his plans.
Ossett are not in action until the Pickering Town clash a week on Saturday and there definitely will be changes.
“(Liversedge) will be some of the lads’ last game for the club,” said Colliver.
“They’re not up to it and we’ve had a look at it now.
“We probably got a bit carried away by the good results and the good reaction when we first came in. We thought we’d got good lads in and we just haven’t.
“We’ve played two really good teams in this division and we’ve got beaten heavily.
“Ultimately there’s lads who’ve played their way out of the team and the club.”
