Football Idol
With supporting Leeds I loved watching max gradel every I week but also Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund.
Biggest influence on football
Would be my family mum dad grandad and girlfriend who come watch week in week out plus my brother who comes when he isn’t playing himself.
Career Highlight
Probably scoring on each of my debuts for Emley, Albion and Silsden no better feeling than getting off to a good start.
Most Memorable Game
Most memorable game is probably my most recent game beating Knaresborough 8-1 for Silsden. The attacking flow and the midfield link up was just a joy to play in.
Lowest moment in Football
Was at brighouse when we had the brilliant season won the play off final and didn’t get promoted in the end (because of restructuring).
Biggest regret in Football
I don’t have any regrets in football as of yet.
Funniest moment in football
Was probably speaking to Sam Kelly the Emley keeper all week before the game against him saying I would score past him. Then in 60th minute I put one in the top corner and I ran to get the ball out of the net because we were losing and can remember him giving me some harsh words and running towards him.
First Non League manager
Joe Howson, he was Emley manager at that point and I was only young. He was very good with me gave me game time and loads of confidence and it was great to be around the team and him at such a young age
Non League Debut
I was only 15 at the time and it was playing for emley under joe Howson it was away at rossington I think I only got around 15 minutes took a few people on got clattered aswell but was a great moment for me,
First Red Card
Luckily I haven’t got one yet if there was VAR in Non League then I would have definitely.
First and Best Goal
First goal was for Emley in the cup against Jubilee. I believe it was just a flick on to back post and a tap in for me. Best goal would have to be against Emley for Albion where I cut in and put it in the top corner against my mate Sam Kelly.
What do you want to achieve in football in the future?
in future of football- I want to be playing at the highest level possible but enjoying playing at the same time,
Favourite Non League Ground
Would have to be Morpeth Town it used to be like a carpet until they changed it to a 4g.
