North West Counties League First Division North Round-Up
Star striker Kayle Price’s injury-time long range screamer snatched three precious points for Steeton in the local derby with Ilkley Town.
Out of nothing Price went for broke from 25 yards to hand Steeton a 2-1 win which lifts them closer to safety and leaves Ilkley in danger.
Luke Baldwin’s tap-in on the goal-line gave Roy Mason’s Steeton an eight minute lead.
A cross from right out wide on the left found ex-Harrogate Railway midfielder Harry Brown for Ilkley’s equaliser as half-time approached.
The crowd had to wait a while for Price’s intervention but it was worth the wait.
Campion lost 5-1 at AFC Blackpool.
Jake Maltby scored Campion’s goal.
